Raymond Forklift

Generally, Raymond forklifts include a couple of unique features. First is the "ACR" system. This is basically part of a design around the use of AC power instead of DC power in electric forklift engines. This gives them a lot of benefits in terms of traction and speed, and Raymond has combined it with some ergonomic-based changes to the design to make it easier to operate their forklifts and to make it feel more "natural" to use them, giving the operator more control. Another big benefit is the energy efficiency - the AC system is a lot better on that front, and it also gets better performance from the forklift's battery. The Raymond forklift models using this system don't decline in performance as the battery loses charge, which is a problem with DC models (basically, even though they're charged enough to operate, they don't work as well or as quickly as the day goes on).

They've also designed their forklifts around a principle called "Universal Stance" - basically, that the operator should always be able to face the direction of the work load. They have a 360 degree visibility design that lets someone in a Raymond forklift face any direction they need to.
